CHILDREN'S
MINISTRY TEAM
This is an opportunity to
help
boys and girls from birth to 6th grade learn
about Jesus
and His love for them. Children's Ministry
team members build a spiritual foundation
in children
through Bible stories, drama, music, games,
mission
projects, and Bible lessons.
Special
events are also planned throughout the year
CONVALESCENT
& HOMEBOUND MINISTRY
Aiding homebound
and
convalescent home residents by visiting them,
offering
Bible study, and showing God's love in a
caring
way is what this ministry team offers.
EPIPHANY
MINISTRY
TO YOUTH OFFENDERS
The mission of this
ministry
is to change the lives and value systems of
incarcerated
juveniles by showing them God's love.
FELLOWSHIP/DISCIPLESHIP
Real life change occurs in small groups, and
while every
group needs a leader, many need apprentices…
leaders
in training. Step out and be part of this
exploding
ministry by leading or apprenticing in a small
group
of your choice.
GREETER
TEAM
A smiling face, a warm handshake, and a
friendly greeting
make people feel welcome and provide access to
information for first time guests.
HANDYMAN
MINISTRY
This ministry aids those in need through
residential repair,
maintenance, and modification tasks.
HELPING
HANDS MINISTRY
Helping Hands provides financial, physical
and spiritual
assistance to those in crisis, in an effort to
improve
their quality of life.
HOSPITALITY
MINISTRY
Meeting the behind the scenes needs of food
service at special church events is this
team's
specialty.
MEALS
ON WHEELS
This community outreach ministry delivers hot
meals
to homebound residents in our community who
are unable
to prepare food for themselves.
MILITARY
MINISTRY
We stand united in encouraging
and
supporting our military service men and women.
We provide
encouragement through prayer support, letters,
cards
and care packages.
MISSIONS
TEAM
This team is focused on organizing
projects
and trips which reach our community, nation
and world
for Jesus Christ.
MUSIC
AND ARTS MINISTRY
There are opportunities in music and drama,
including
instrumentalists, Praise Choir, and
videographers.
Our multimedia team includes opportunities in
lighting,
sound, and graphics presentations.
OFFICE
VOLUNTEERS
All administrative skills and skill levels can
help
support the needs of church administration.
Some tasks
include: making copies, data entry,
laminating, sorting, and
mail preparation
PRAYER
MINISTRY
This ministry offers prayer groups such as
prayer partners,
intercessory prayer, Wednesday night prayer
group, and
prayer during Sunday morning worship
services.
SENIOR
ADULTS
This ministry is for seniors
seeking
to serve our Lord by participating in outreach
ministries
that serve our community and promote
fellowship within
our HBC senior members.
SINGLE
ADULT MINISTRY
This team provides a variety of activities and
classes
where single adults can meet, mingle, and
connect with
other Christian singles.
STUDENT
MINISTRY
Our junior high and high school ministry team
offers
relevant programs and events that connect
students into
relationships with Christ and one another.

USHER
TEAM
Ushers help seat people, hand out programs,
handle crowd
control, answer questions, receive
tithes and offerings,
and help serve communion.
WOMEN'S
MINISTRY
Women's Ministry is committed to helping,
encouraging,
and inspiring all women to become fully
devoted followers
of Christ. This is accomplished through Bible
workshops,
development seminars, weekend retreats, and
fun social
events throughout the year.
WRITE
WAY PRISON
MINISTRY
This team helps incarcerated
men and
women by reading over, checking answers and
writing
notes pertaining to Bible studies through mail
correspondence.
