Our guests often have questions about church membership. We're glad to help you with this important decision.

Who May Join Heights?

Anyone who has made a personal commitment to follow Jesus Christ, and who has been baptized by immersion as a symbol of his or her faith.

• If you have made a commitment to Christ, but have not been baptized by immersion as a symbol of your faith, you may request membership in Heights by baptism.
• If you are a member of a church of another denomination and have been baptized by immersion, let's talk! Call one of our pastors and share your story: 281.331.8201.
• If you are a member of another Baptist church, you may request that we have your membership transferred to Heights.
  

How Do I Join?

Each person who desires to join Heights attends Class 101 - Discovering Church Membership, which is led by the pastor.

• The class will provide you with information concerning...

• The Mission
• The Beliefs
• The Structure
• The Goals of our church

• During the class, you will have a chance to meet others who are considering membership at Heights. You will also meet some of our staff and some members who have been around awhile. At the end of the session you will be given an opportunity to join Heights.

How May I Participate In The Life Of The Church Before I Decide To Join?

You have many opportunities to take an active part in the life of the church family...

• Join a LIFE Group.
• Sing in a Choir.
• Play in the Band.
• Participate in one of our Christian growth classes.
• Take part in a mission study or project.
• Join a ministry group.
• Attend a fellowship gathering.
• Meet with us for any and all services.
