Charles entered the ministry in 1972 and has been pastor at Heights since 1988. Originally from the San Antonio area, he graduated from Howard Payne University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Sherry, have 3 grown daughters. Charles says his favorite activity is playing with his seven grandchildren. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, and golf.
